RandomArt
What I was hoping to do was create a large amount of NPC's made to look like Scottish Highlanders that live in the Colovian Highlands. I think I could make the NPC's myself with a bit of screwing around in the CS, but it's scripting them that I'm clueless about... The clothing I had in mind was: The kilts from this set (some retexturing for more colors would be great):http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22919 And, for things that come with the game, they'd wear braided sandals on their feet and they'd be wielding various claymores, war hammers, and battle axes. The highlanders would need to travel through the Highlands in small groups of maybe two to five, although I see the difficulty of traveling through a lot of the off-road as a problem. Features I had in mind were hunting (you'd have to add a lot of deer to the Highlands, considering how abnormally barren it is), and camping at night, which would consist of them stopping wherever they were come dusk and setting up camp (bedrolls and a fire, perhaps with a spitted piece of meat over it). Paint horses would also be a great addition to the groups. I would also like to add a small Highland settlement with the Mod, nothing fancy, just a handful of farm houses, some livestock, a quick travel icon, maybe a buyable house, nothing special, just a normal farmhouse, a tavern is a must, and probably a smithy. This would all have to be built on top of the UL for the area (see below). Also, being a town, it would need women, but they wouldn't wear the kilts that the men would, they'd just wear normal female clothes, probably lower or middle class to maintain the look of the settlement. Also, I think this should be associated with the UL Colovian Highlands mod (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15511) since it adds so much to the highlands feel of Colovia. Another issue that I would have in making the Mod is that I can't get any UL's to show up in the CS.
simonp92
The kilts from this set:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=588That is a morrow mod which means that the kilts need to be converted to the oblivion body. but only if the model is made by a modder, and not form the orginal morrowind. Edit: I found this instead:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22919however you might need to ask the Author for premission to use it. RandomArt
Oh, I totally didn't even notice that, thanks. So I'm still trying to fiddle around in the CS, but I don't even know where to start...
RandomArt
Bump for edits. Also, upon downloading and using the Kilts Mod, I noticed right away that there is a major issue with the loincloth thing that you wear. I think you could get rid of this by making the kilt take up both the torso and legs slots, but if not, you could add a pair of tight "briefs" of sorts to just eliminate the clipping. If this idea gets anywhere, I'll start asking for permissions from the Mod creators of the Kilts Mod and the creator of the Unique Landscape.
