Shadowmark translation after reading the book

Well I personally can't be bothered learning all the marks but I figure with the way characters learn things from skimming over books in skyrim you should know what the marks mean once you read shadowmarks so I'm thinking there should be a mod that gives you a little text thing saying what each mark means when you look at it or maybe make them interactive so when you use it it tells you though only if you've read the book on the marks

I lack the skills to do it, but I'd like to see this done as well.

I think it is possible...something akin to BLESSINGS - Altar Descriptions would work - would just have to create an invisible 'something' in front of each Shadowmark to bear the description/translation, I think. And tie those things into a quest or something linked to the book, so that they don't appear until the book is read. Something like the book that adds a few (undiscovered) map markers to Skyrim when you read it.

Wish I had the skill, time, and patience to make this. Would be an awesome mod.

You're guildmaster of the Thieves' guild, and you need reference for each shadowmark? If Gallus was still alive, he'd boot you out of the cistern faster than you could say "larceny".

Still, I think it'd be easier to make a list of shadowmarks and meanings, and add them to the front page of the book. You'll still have to refer to it, but it'll be easier than flipping through the pages. After all, where's the fun in having everything spoonfed to you?

Or write it down and tape it to your monitor.

Yeah, because everyone who does all the side stuff along with a good number of mods really memorizes the books they read in game...

Keep the useless posts to yourselves mkay?
