Finding the faulty mod

My Skyrim has been reinstalled several times due to a very specific issue, yet it keeps persisting; At random times, from 5 minutes into the game to 1-2 hours, it will randomly crash. I cannot recreate the crash, for if i load an autosave even 10 seconds earlier from the crash, it doesn't happen. Yet this is very annoying. I have a small list of mods that i find essential, and some more that are more on-off/experimental. If i could get help troubleshooting any recognized "bad" mods or some mod compatibilities i would be very grateful.

Please ignore the messed up sorting, BOSS don't want to sort my mods recently, though i have manually sorted my mods, yet with no way to export the list. But these are the mods i have installed.

When i was starting up the skse that i had installed manually with the 7zip file, it said that it could not find the .dll in the C:\Games\\Skyrim folder (notice the extra \). I think this issue is related to it, that there may be something wrong with my installation. Though the crashes, which is my primary issues has been ongoing for 3 installations now, and about 4 months.
I should maybe add, SKSE works fine if installed in the skse installation and the shortcut, though the NMM SKSE shortcut is broken as well.

From steam, i have not pirated it, simply created a custom library on my SSD (C:\), as my steam is in my D:\ drive.

I see :) Hm well, to be honest I am not very good with load order sorting, but you do seem to have a lot of mods - perhaps you could consider trimming it down a bit. Besides that, I'm afraid I can't offer much help, hope someone more knowledgeable drops by :)

Also, it is probably faster to use the Method of Halving for finding the problematic mod than just posting your load order and asking someone to magically know the answer.

 

Method of Halving (recursive procedure):

Step 1: Disable half of the ESPs you have enabled (treating multiple ESPs associated with a single mod as a single ESP).

Step 2: Start Skyrim (new game preferably, with alternate start for fast start and testing). If you still experience a CTD the problematic mod is one of the ones you still have enabled. If you don't experience a CTD the problematic mod is one of the ones you disabled.

Step 3: If you still experienced a CTD, proceed back to Step 1, else disable the ESPs you have enabled and enable the ones you previously disabled, then proceed back to Step 1.

 

E.g.

1. I have 150 ESPs. I experience a CTD when all the mods are enabled, and I don't experience a CTD when they're all disabled.

2. I disable ESPs 76-150.

3. I no longer get a CTD. The issue was in the ESPs I disabled. (76-150)

4. I re-enable ESPs 76-150 and disable ESPs 1-75.

5. I disable ESPs 76 - 112.

6. I experience a CTD. The issue is in the mods still enabled. (113-150)

7. I disable ESPs 113-126.

8. I no longer get a CTD. The issue was in the ESPs I disabled. (113-126)

9. I re-enable ESPs 113-126 and disable ESPs 127-150.

10. I disable ESPs 113-119.

11. I experience a CTD. The issue is in the ESPs still enabled. (120-126)

12. I disable ESPs 120-123.

13. I no longer get a CTD. The issue is in the ESPs I disabled (120-123)

14. I re-enable ESPs 120-123 and disable ESPs 124-126.

15. I disable ESPs 120 and 121.

16. I no longer get a CTD. The issue is in either ESP 120 or 121.

17. I re-enable ESPs 120 and 121 and disable ESPs 122 and 123.

18. I disable ESP 120.

19. I get a CTD. ESP 121 is the only mod active. Therefore it must be the culprit.

 

 

Overall you start Skyrim a total of 8 times, counting the test where you try to play with no mods enabled and don't get any CTDs.
