Drytchnath
Hi all, I just downloaded HGEC and the +5 attributes mod. The attribute mod works wonderfully, no problems there and less hassle to play. However, HGEC is giving me a lot of trouble and refuses to work. I followed the instructions for OMOD installation to the letter, even went so far as to do it twice just to make sure. Whenever I load Oblivion, be it a new game or old, the females are all still their ugly selves. I'm running on a 64-bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium, PC is brand new and self-built so theres no odd software on it. I'm patched to the most current Bethesda patch and have the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? LFact
Did you take clothes off and check if your character body is changed?
Khet
He speaketh truth. With body mods when you're naked you see the new body. However, if you do not download special clothing for the mod the body will 'morph' back to the vanilla style mesh. Why? Because the armor and clothing in the game actually have entirely separate meshes than the naked body. What happens when you equip something is the 'naked' version of the mesh is disabled where the armor covers the body and the armor's mesh takes over. That's why even with HGEC (and this is the reason I use Exnem's) if you don't get armor built for your specific settings you'll still run into the morphing issue. bben46
The body mod has no effect on the faces. The pics you have been looking at probably were taken with one of the beauty mods as well as the body mod. As the beauty mod is not required, it may not have been mentioned in the mod read me. Drytchnath
Ok I see it now when I made a new female character and took the clothes off. Any clothing/faces mods recommended? I was expecting results similar to the screenshots.
LFact
Ok I see it now when I made a new female character and took the clothes off. Any clothing/faces mods recommended? I was expecting results similar to the screenshots. First, get stock clothes/armor mesh replacers. I recommend to get EVE(EyeCandy Variants Expansion), which supports HGEC normal C-Cup and E-Cup, HGEC EBE Fighter. For faces, it's what you have to make. Getting some better texture can make difference. And if you can't make good face with vanilla races, you can try with custom races.
