Creating _gnd items (ground models)

Any tutorials on how to do this? I'm having a bit of trouble finding one.

For ground items, the advice is the same as it is for clutter. You are usually best off to just find an existing clutter mesh which has the same basic shape, and just swap out the visible mesh components in nifscope. As far as I know, no body has managed to export a collision mesh for clutter which did not act like a superball, or just outright not work when dropped.

Try this tutorial. Should work for clutter as it does for shields.

 

Don't know about the superball thingy though. The GND files for the Mandalorian Armor mod was created using this same technique. I don't recall the GND models acting crazy...but maybe I did not test them in a way that caused the problem.
