zottffssen
Can the DLC esms be combined into one single esm for ease of editing, load order, save 4 spots etc? thanks zottffssen

Quetzlsacatanango
Why do you say they couldn't?
gsmanners
Actually, I imagine it would be more complicated than just merging the esm files. You'd also need to unpack the assets (the bsa files) and merge those into one glorious package. And, as long as you're doing that, you may as well unpack the original bsa files and merge *everything* together, then merge the DLCs with Fallout3.esm. Of course, at that point, you'd lose compatibility with mods that are designed for those DLCs (so you'd be forced to update all those to whatever design you use). zottffssen
So merging the esms would not cause them to be shown as their original masters to other mods? I see why it would cause incompatibility, but why would you then need to merge the BSAs into a single file? they would still refer to their individual BSA packages even when merged would they not? please please please correct me if i'm wrong. thanks for your replies zottffssen
gsmanners
You actually do need to extract the Voices bsa at a minimum. I know this for a fact, because they use the name of the esm file as part of the path for the voices.
