Peppez
Or maybe there's just the Necromancer, and he's the one resurrecting the dead inmates, and you have to kill him to lay them all to rest. And I would contribute something regarding the rest of Alethia, but I don't knwo the lore too well. Anyway, the asylum suits me to a t. BEst to play to ones specialities, after all. How about a necromancer possessed by the demon, we could add journals of his writings, lies the demon told him to lure him into releasing him into Alethia, him progressivly getting crazier (And maybe his voice screaming through the asylum, getting progressivly more demonic). Until at the end you find his dead body and the demon near it? P.S: Done with the robe, also added in a bloody apron, right now I am figuring out the quest and putting it into the game :)
kieranfoy
That's an excellant idea, me likey. Just let me finish eating dinner, and I'll write it up. Maybe, when you kill him, the demon appears (like, say, a faded wraith with the zombie lord script effect, the glowy green mist) and you have to kill IT, too? As for the robe... truly awesome! Bloody aprons are the coolest! I can't wait. Firguratitvley, that is.
Slawter500
A demon eh? How about a demon master sort of thing? I always thought boss fights in oblivion were to easy, so maybe give him some minions, i.e zombies would be fine as that kind of reflects the journals. kieranfoy
Yup, I intend to make him tricky. Probably have a cadre of twelve really tough Dread Zombie's around him, maybe called Hag-Ridden Zombies. And there's the fact that you'll have to fight through a insane asylum full of undead to get to him. And have to kill him twice. The player'll fight for that staff, I promise you. Slawter500
Remember you've got to add to the fear factor :P Zombies round corners etc, the asylum is the islands horror part.

Well, the fear factor depends largely on the desing. I'm just writting the quest, not actually making the Asylum itself, so most of that is beyond my power. I'll do my best. kieranfoy
Well, here's a first draft of the Blackspine quest for the moddwer who can make it a reality. I'll, or course, update and fix it according to suggestions, this is just a rough draft. I'll be uploading the Necromancer's Journal later. Er, let me know if the attachtment didn't work. kieranfoy
Oops. Here's the final journal entry: JOURNAL ENTRY: Thank Arkay. The demon is dead, and poses no more threat to the people of this island. The dead of Blackspine Asylum might be able to rest, now. I don;t know if I will will be able to enjoy the same priveledge. The things I've seen... regardless, I have the staff.

We were originally planning on using the (xivilai) demon from this. I also think that you should make the boss fight harder, like make it have a ton of health, and a chance for it to full heal when it is low on health (:D). kieranfoy
Hey, you're the modder, man. I'm just writing the plot. You want to stick in a demon Xivilai, all you gotta do is cut out the demons lines. As for the difficulty, go for it. Have him use powerful healing spells. Have him summon armies of zombies. Cool stuff like that. How go the robes?
