Bottletopman
What exactly is the gravity field measured in? If I put in 1.3 for example, does that mean gravity affects a projectile at 1.3 G? So 9.8m/s2 + (9.8 × 1.3)? I'm trying to attain realistic bullet trajectories, but I'm at a complete loss as to what values I should input for which cartridges. EDIT: Also, how can I represent the mass of a bullet as its gravity in the GECK? Will setting it for example at 3 make it 3 kg in-game? (not talking about pip-boy weight, but the weight to calculate physics) Edited February 20, 2014 by Bottletopman
DaemonGrin
There is already a mod that does this http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50757/? you might take a look at it if you want to make your own. Wish I could help more but I'm clueless about the subject myself XD Good luck,Geoff
Bottletopman
Yeah I know there are a few mods that make bullets have realistic ballistics, it wasn't really related to my original question lol, but at least you tried to help so thanks anyway. SDB16
If you find out the correct gravity value you will also need the correct Speed values as well, I am doing research into this for a realism overhaul so I will come back and let you know anything I find out. Bottletopman
Holy mother of all necros...but I'd rather a necro than another thread. Velocity is easy to get, can just find that on wikipedia.
