alonsomartinez
Those look awesome ! How the heck did you manage to make the textures look exactly like Morrowind's ? They look straight out from it !
LHammonds
How the heck did you manage to make the textures look exactly like Morrowind's ? They look straight out from it !First of all, the initial creation of the texture work is not mine. The initial textures were created by GrimDeath for the armor. He used multiple texture layers combined with layer FX. Those textures were adapted by themythofstrider for use with the weapons. The original textures from Morrowind look like low-res water color compared to this. hehehe. But to answer your question...layers...lots of layers. If you want to examine the source TIFF file, let me know via PM and I'll send it to you. LHammonds
Deleted1848331User
Handle for the dagger looks odd to me. Then again, it might have looked like that in Morrowind, because I haven't played all the way through it. Just thought I'd give my criticism :D EDITActually it all looks odd to me lol. EDIT 2 Alonso thinks I meant the model, but to clarify I mean the texture. Sorry for confusion if any
alonsomartinez
Well go and play Morrowind and come back it looks to me EXACTLY the same and I played Morrowind for like 4 years on my xbox
Deleted1848331User
Oh, sorry. I have NEVER found glass in Morrowind. I'm at the part where you have to get into a high rank for the blades part. The hand to hand master dude. I was just thinking for oblivion the texture would look weird. EDITI mean like it looks low-res
LHammonds
Handle for the dagger looks odd to me....but to clarify I mean the texture. That's because the dagger did not have any UV Map or Textures applied...was simple coloring. Here is what the same dagger model looks like with textures applied as well as various angles to get a better "handle" for what it looks like. http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/images/128909-1285810958.jpg
