Sypron
Okay, so i want to be able to make a potion that not gives me vampire effects, but insted actually gives me the disease to turn me into a vampire. and also for werewolfism. To do this (i want to make the potion in game) I will need two ingredients with the effect, so i can mix them. Can anyone tell me how to turn that vampire disease (i think it starts with "p") into an ingredient effect. same story for were wolves. And another thing, I would prefer if no one questions my motives.

It's even called "Vampirism" Lycanthropy on the other hand, is something down only by scripting, so it can't really be made into an ingredient effect. Switch
Vampirism is in the Ingredient efects list. It's even called "Vampirism"<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Except it doesn't work if you put it in a potion. I've tried. ^^ I would think you'd have to script the potion so that it gives the PC the disease when the potion is drunk, if you can. But I wouldn't know how to go about that... Malchik
I know nothing of scripting but perhaps you can adapt something from Hercine's ring script. That will turn you into a werewolf when you want. Perhaps it can be adapted to do the same to vampires?
Wookiee
well here is a dilly of a picle i can probably right the scripts but i am unsure as to how the game handles potions that are created... i THINK that player made potions are dynamic like player made spells and not put in the construction set rather the game makes them itself based on your skill levels. If this is the case then it is increadably dificult to attach a script to it. If however it is created using awww a psudo lab and is a one off thing that you need to follow a series of scripted peramaters to place a prediscribed potion in the inventory or on a table then that could have a script attached to it... but again it is how you are tackling it :)
Sypron
yeah vampirism doesn't actually turn you into a vampire, it just gives you the bad traits of it. and i mean to actually make the potions in game using ingredients. You can make a potion that gives you blight disease right? so wheres vampirism the disease. still my proposition stands, WHERE IS THE LIST OF INGREDIENT EFFECTS!!! Marxist ßastard
You can make a potion that gives you blight disease right?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> No. Diseases are spells, and, as I have stated in another thread, it is impossible to specify that the potion resulting from the mixture of your ingredients will be equal in effects to a specific spell; alchemy is quite hard-coded in that regard. WHERE IS THE LIST OF INGREDIENT EFFECTS!!! RTFUESP.
