Imaginator Leftovers?

This bug is kind of difficult for me to explain. I recently started running into a bunch of issues with my modded Skyrim so I did a completely clean reinstall, so I have no idea how leftover mods could be affecting this, but it's the only thing I can think of.

Basically, occasionally I will be walking around and suddenly things like saturation, contrast, etc. will change. There are pockets of space which will consistently make this change occur, so it seems like it's tied to particular worldspace blocks. Because of what it changes, I have to assume it's something to do with Imaginator, as I've never used ENBs. I'd show you some screenshots but Skyrim CTDs every time I try.

Any advice? I've had a few other things that have suggested there is leftover stuff from mods (texture issues mainly), but after a completely clean reinstall I have no idea how they're still there.

As Moto says, are you sure it's not caused by changes in the weather? It would also depend on what your Imaginator settings are. Some drastic settings might generate visual anomalies.....I also think the fact that Skyrim CTDs every time you try to take a screenshot might be a more serious issue.

I've been using the Imaginator for a long time, and never had any problems. However, if you have not already, you must download the MCM Menu for Imaginator, rather than use the NPC helper that comes with the original mod, to adjust Imaginator settings, as to prevent savegame bloating.

Hey guys, thanks for posting.

I'll attach a load order to the bottom of this, but as its a clean reinstall I have not activated any mods. These issues are happening in vanilla.

I did use the MCM menu, and I did not install any weather mods.

Replace your load order with a complete BOSS log, including the SKSE information and any plugins not recognized by BOSS.

But if the issue is happening without any plugins activated, and with a new starting game, then it's not caused by the Imaginator. The only remaining possible culprit would be any texture replacers you have installed that do not come with plugins.
