Sarya
Well, eyes is just a minor change in the list. Whenever you start your game, do not load your vampire save first, load any other savegame and then your vampire save to avoid most dreaded face resetting bug. To un-vampire yourself you have two fair ways. First one is long, burry and unreliable. Start the quest by talking about a cure to either Vicente Valtieri or any of the priests in any temple (Imperial City one is enough), then do as the quest says. It's quite bugged, I warned you, though I never actually experienced that bug myself (probably because I never cure my characters, heh heh). The second one is available if you have a Vile Lair official plugin. To avoid spoilers here just travel to it's location (southeast of Leeyawin) and read the book at the entrance for the clues how to do it. Then follow them. Nunda
Well I loaded up before becoming a vampire went to the priest but he gave me no options that have anything to do with vampires, so I went to the alter and it cured all my afflictions, then I went to bed and I didn't turn into a vampire, I leveled up instead! so I think I'm good. Thank you everyone. so becoming a vampire is purely cosmetic? Oh and I know nothing of the vampire mod.
David Brasher
Oh no. It is much more than cosmetic. Sometime you should purposely let one of your characters become a vampire and try it out. Vampires have great strengths and great weaknesses. The strengths can really help you out on certain quests or activities, the weaknesses can almost cripple you when doing certain types of quests. But there is just something special about breaking into someone's house in the middle of the night, sneaking up to their bed, biting them on the neck, and running away before they see you or call the guards. katashy
Vampires are more than cosmetic. They have increased speed, increased strengh, increased sneak, and they get some unique spells. Sadly, there are cons: After the first level o vampirism, going out in daylight will damage you rather quickly, forcing you to go out at night. If you want to go out at night, "feed" on a sleeping person, reverting you back into level 1 vampire, letting you go out, but after 3 days, you'll turn into level 2 vampire, requirring you to feed again. To be honest, I found it a waste of time and health potions, but you should at least try it out. EDIT: Remembered another con, at level 3 vampire, some merchants and NPCs won't talk to you and will run away.
Frodric
Or you could mod the Vamp experience. I use BetterVampires with Vampire Aesthetics for a nice Vamp game every now and again. I do recommend you increase the game difficulty and use something like MMM if you go this route, Vampires are seriously tough as PC's.
