Klammy
No matter what I try, I can't update to 1.7. When I start up Fallout 3, it does the whole "Please Stand By" thing, and then the GFWL message comes up asking me of I want to updated to 1.7. I say yes, and then a status bar comes up for the download. The bar then goes all the way to the end as if it downloads in like 2 seconds, and the screen just sits there for about 5-10 minutes. :whistling: Then the little update program opens up and Fallout 3 closes (as it should), and the updated finishes as if it worked as it should have. But when I start Fallout 3 up again, it just asks if I want to update to 1.7 again. :wallbash: Of course by then I'm ticked because I just thought I just updated. I've tried updating about 7 times in a row, trying something different every time, and I just can't get it to work. If you have any information regarding my problem, please inform me. I honestly think sometimes that this whole Fallout 3/GFWL thing is just a big waste of time. Anyways, thanks. :thanks:
JimboUK
Have you tried manually patching it?

oblivionjosh
You may have a modified .exe there for the patcher will not reqonise the .exe so it will just pass right throu it. you should always keep a backup of your .exesome mods can modify your .exe if you have a backup just replace it with the fallout3.exe in your fallout folder then try patching it againif not then you will have to reinstall fallout 3 or install it on another computer then use a flash drive/disk to transfer it to your com. good luck!!!
