LFact
BP Edit.esm....... Looks like edited Beautiful People for personal use, isn't it? If you use Beautiful People, you don't need Ren's beauty pack plugin at all. And 'Genderless_Hair_Styles.esp', another conflicting one. And, make sure your cosmetic mod meshes/textures correctly. Especially for default eye mesh/texture replacing mod like Beautiful People.
bben46
Most eye problems are related to having too many 'beauty' type mods installed. Each one wants to control how the eyes look and you get something strange. black eyes, no eyes, googly eyes, strange color etc. Look for mods such as 'beautiful people' and any custom race mod. disable all of them and see if you get the vanilla eyes back. Then reinstall the mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem.
Hexegoth
I still cant find the problem source, i've disabled all races mods, but i dont know wich are beauty mods
LordEmm
Oh i have experimented much on this in the last days and know that problem well. Definitely leave out any version of BP (Beautiful people) if you use any other race mod. Especially if they modify the same race, like rens mystic elf. Also race mods that use the same resources can sometimes be fighting over who gets to control what. They should come second (after hair) in case any other mod uses resources from them. I also found that .esm's are generally a bad idea because you can not make them load AFTER esp's which for some race conflicts is a must. In general i found hair and eye packs before race packs (so races can use them if so told). Rens should come before other racepacks (that was what caused googly eyes in my latest incarnation). The other packs supercede rens then. The problem might lie with some of your CM Partners. Many of them rely on the presence of beauty/race packs and several have caused googly eyes in my game too. Especially tricky are those that install a race with them, like Ambreska, which adds the Ice Elves.esm and i forgot which one adds the CuteElves.esm I had problems with CuteElves before too, so i left them out so far. That may be where your googly eyes come from (or even more likely BP edit.esm) as i don't see any other race conflicts. Beautiful Elves is also deadly if you have any of the single elven race packs already installed. I am not familiar with Oscuros and FCOMs so i cannot comment on what problems they may or may not cause. For me though it is always a beauty pack (specifically an eye mod or complete overhaul like beautiful people) or a race mod that causes the weird eyes, and with race mods you usually can just change the load order or unload it. I usually pack my mods by type (all races together and after another) so i can quickly change the order when a problem appears... also i always put ALL CM companions last in case they need something of a race. Some Companions rely on too much else and could be a problem too. Maybe try to uncheck them and see if that helps. Just for reference, here is a list of beauty packs and race mods i use (working) in my load order: Drow Race.esm (although that gives me headaches for other reasons now)IceElfRace.esm (Ozmos) Corean_hair_for_Original_race.esp_Ren_BeautyPack_onlyhairs.esp (to get hairs for others)Capucines Character Expansion.espElves Of Lineage II.esp_Ren_BeautyPack_full.esp (to get the Mystic Elves) MUST come before others below or it causes googly eyes. Also AFTER Lineage elves. Nec Mystic High Elf-Remake.espNec Mystic Dark Elf-Remake.espLattamer.espAsharasSirensAndTritons.espDemonRace.esp i also had "Sarams" (by idkrrr) race as well as "Ice Elves and Wolf Elves" (not Ozmo) installed before and working with all that (after Demon Race in load order).I think though idkrrr_kfme4rev.esp (different file from above Sarams race) did give me google eyes, but i am not 100% sure it was that. Will try at some point. But as said before i strongly suspect "BP edit.esm" to be the culprit. BP has given me the most headaches by far (and sadly unfixable even after removal). I hope that helps a little.
Frodric
This is the reason I now use Cosmetic Compilation Revived since it has a lot of good features already edited in.
LordEmm
So may i be correct in the assumption that googly eye problems come from installing different eye meshes and then adding a race or eye mod that needs a different mesh? (Like Ren/BP or EE or Capucine/Vanilla eyes)If that is the case it would help to know which races have googly eyes. If it is only the originals then it is the imperial meshes that got nixed and i may have a fix for that. For custom races it is a little bit trickier, because it seems it depends on the source. For example Rens Mystic elf can come from a standalone, or from the BP pack, or several other packs that include it. They may have converted the eyes to fit THEIR meshes. Or i may be completely off-base here. I am just trying to find that out myself, so i know why things went wrong and i can change that part back. My imperials example comes from an experiment earlier where i luckily had backep up the imperial meshes directory and could restore it. Sadly i forgot what caused the problem (i think Sarams for original maybe). So to the OP, could you tell us what races have the googly eyes problem or is it all of them?
