Phoenixjinchuriki
Ok so i finished my first playthrough with mods, decided which ones i want and which i dont, deleted all saves, deactivated the mods i didnt want, reactivated the ones i did, got the load order sorted between author notes and boss, started a new game, and now everytime i try it goes screwy right from the start, the wagon goes mental and the one time it didnt i got a ctd outside riverwood, i halved my mods for the sole purpose of getting rid of the buggy mods and doing a playthrough without bugged quests and ctd's, im using ssme aswell, heres a video i uploaded of the problem, could someone tell me what im doing wrong im fairly new to pc gaming so i may have forgotten to do something when i started fresh i dont know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvU8ioBZ3FA

Frostelis
what is your load order? I had the same exact problem. Selene Kate companion, Kitiara follower, Kamille - one of these three or all three cause the wagon to go batshit insane as well as some script heavy mods, which you need to disable up atleast until you enter helgen keep
bben46
The Helgen intro/Tutorial part is very heavily scripted and conflicts with many mods that have scripting. You really can't use any of the mods until you are out pf the Helgen intro part anyway and trying to use them will just causes problems. Disable all of your mods. After you exit the cave - the intro scripts terminate and the real game begins - Be sure to make a save with no mods before adding the mods back in so you don't have to repeat the intro next time. - Note: Mods that do not have scripts will be OK - most cosmetic and texture type mods should not cause problems. ripple
For the wagon ride havoc issue, try this: Add the following line to your Skyrim.ini, under [General] iFPSClamp=60See if that helps you get pass the wagon ride, then report back. Phoenixjinchuriki
I managed to get past it on luck of the draw, dont like thats its not resolved, and ive noticed while playing the game after about 20 minutes solid gameplay things go screwy eg. textures do that flat lilac thing, dodgy glitches eg... clavicous vile took barbas back but his statue didnt change or during ill met by moonlight the bear were still in bmg attacking everyone... and every now and then a random ctd, not sure what to make of it, im about to add that fpsclamp in and see if it might be simply that with over half my mods gone my fps are skyrocketing and causing issues but i doubt it somehow im only using a 2gb radeon 7870 not exactly using nasa equip
rhowington
A 2 gig Radeon 7870 is more than enough power to run Skyrim on ultra settings if you have a decent CPU. My desktop uses a Sapphire 7880 and Skyrim is smooth as silk. I use ENBoost and SSMM and all 2048 gb graphics enhancers as well as COT and ELFX. Phoenixjinchuriki
i tried realvision enb with cot and rlo before on ultra and it worked but jesus did my computer scream, really loud and running really hot i didnt trust it so i took it off, currently using 600w coolermaster and it doesnt live up to its name when i had that on
ripple
'iFPSClamp=60' is suppose to help get past the introduction carriage ride havoc issue, not help mitigate CTDs. That's why I asked you to report back after you try it (and see if it does help do that). If you are past the carriage ride, you should set the value of that setting to '0.'
