Is this Character possible?

Hello forum users,

I am pretty much new to TES and now wanted to start playing Oblivion. But.. since the possible character models are not really pretty, I figured using some Mods.

My question is, can I create my character to look like Ney?

(that´s her )

If yes, which mods do I need? Should be a Dark evlan / Drow Mod, but it is not necessary for her to be that extremely dark skinned, also the ears do not have to be that pointy ;)

btw, english is not my native language, so hope I got everything written right...

Thanks!

Why isn´t there a complete package, which installs a collection of chosen, good mods : /

Would really be nice..

Several reasons...

1. Person doing all the compiling would have to get permission from numerous people and that is a huge pain. I speak from experience in gathering permissions from more than 30 sources for my cosmetic mod.

2. Everyone has different tastes, so it would not be practical to cover what each individual would like in their individual games.

3. Technical issues.. I don't even want to touch that. I know what works with my setup. I'd probably die if I had to do tech support for an enormous mod that may not work the same on other people's machines.

4. File Size.. huge, gigantic, takes forever to upload and download.. you get the idea.

@ Tchos

Thanks, the preview of elves look very good in both of them. I think I will try them after another

If there are any things missing, I will ask again.

Can the features of those mods be combined with each other?

@ SavageArtistry

You´ve got some good points. It´s not like I have no idea about how much work administrating software on different machines is like... but just thinking of Gothic3, they made All-in-one packages.

(But the game itself sucks nevertheless..)

Thank you!

Sorry.. I'm thinking of the questions I see from people who can't grasp the idea installing things to somewhere other than the default path or who don't understand about compressed files.

As for your original question, you could use the Lineage Elf or Chocolate Elf as suggested, and swap out the ears to those in the mod "Mystic Elves with Long Ears." I did it to the Adoring Fan in this pic, just to give you an idea of how the race looks with the ears. http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=35230

Try throttlekitty's "head06". you'd have to figure out how to put those long ears on it (probably just some CS work), but at least for me, it allows you to create much nicer looking characters than you can with low-poly head models. (I have no idea how many triangles the elf heads are made up of, but my assumption is that they're similar in count to the vanilla meshes)

Elves of Lineage or any of the others is fine, as far as it concerns the head. Except for the ears (I do not really care that much, in which direction they point..) it is fine.

But I cannot adjust the lower body - torso, legs,... ?

Thanks again for your help!

@SavageArtistry

No Problem, since I expressed the question like a nerd.. ;)
