xaechireon
After I got my hands on the cryo grenades and mines for the first time, I was severely disappointed at how short the freezing lasted. Is it possible to make a simple tweak ESP that makes cryo-paralysis last longer? I'm not talking about throwable paralyzing palms here, just something more useful, like 5-10 seconds instead of 3. VerbalEarthworm
yes; it is both possible, and simple. i altered mine to 12 seconds.
xaechireon
Right, how do I go about doing that? I don't expect someone's going to upload an ESP just to tweak that, but that's the only thing I actually want to change really badly.
VerbalEarthworm
okay, launch The Geck, goto File>Data to open Data window, tick (cross) the Fallout3.esm and Zeta.esm, Okay it and let them load, ignore any warnings about spaces (just click "Yes to All"), click the Save button or goto File>Save, choose a suitable name (i used Cryo Wolf :P ), Save your blank .esp, goto the Object Window, scroll down until you see the label: *All, click it and type into the little search window: DLC05EnchCryoGrenade, it will appear in the right hand window, doubleclick it to open the Object Effect window, you will see Paralysis and Ice effects with a Duration of 3 and 4, doubleclick on each to open the Effect Item window, you will see the Duration in a little window on the left in "s" (seconds), alter each Duration to whatever you want ( i just tripled them to 9 and 12 respectively), OK the windows closed until you are back at the basic GECK setup and then click Save or goto Data>Save, close the GECK, launch FOMM, tick your new .esp, go play. xaechireon
Thanks Earthworm. Will this apply to cryo mines as well?
