Very annoying problem - anyone else had it? anyone know how to fix it?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a very annoying problem and i cant for the life of me figure out how to fix it. So a few days ago i installed fook2 beta and all seemed fine till i started seeing white blobs flash up on my player (while in 3rd person) and on the NPCs (when they have a fair ammount of blood splattered on them). I presumed it must be fook2 so i uninstalled it, the problem was still there. Confused, i the uninstalled the entire game and deleted my fo3 dictionary/folder. I then also removed the files in the my games folder. So, i installed fallout 3 once again and did not have any mods active or even in the fo3 dictionary.

But guess what the problem was yet again showing up to annoy me :wallbash: . The problem goes when i either take off HDR lighting and turn on bloom or when i compleatly turn AA off (which i really dont want to have to do).

This problem happens when fallout 3 is patched (latest) and not patched. It happens when the unofficial patch is also installed and when it isnt. I have a 4890 and it has ATI C driver 9.7

Iv made a video just for this post so you can see the problem....

I would REALLY appreciate ANY help i can get or any solutions you can offer me. Mabe a way to stop blood splattering on NPC's or on The character?

I really dont know what to do any more and its killing the fun of fallout 3.

Thanks guys

Hey AcesTranquility I have the exact same problem as yours and the exact same process! It all started after installing and playing FOOK2 and hitting someone until they are covered in blood! Even though I do a clean reinstall afterward it DID NOT HELP AT ALL! So far I have waste a week and have not found any solution and it is really annoying to see white blob flickering around the blood when I chase or being chased! I have an ATI 4770. If anyone know the solution please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wallbash:
