Cpt Cornelius
I know I have asked before but I'm a noob and I can't remember how to install Oblivion Mods on Windows Vista. Any help highly appreciated.
ipegot
Don't install Oblivion to your program files directory. (unless you have uac turned off.) Mod files go into your oblivion\data directory.
David Brasher
The way I solved my Vista problem was changing the the directory to C: Games\Oblivion\Data\[Mods] This makes it so you can use TES CS. Download the "Ring of Console" mod if you want to be able to use console commands when playing.

malonn
Turn off UAC. It's not that great. If you use smart web browsing practices and don't open every email you get you have nothing to worry about. Use Firefox with the NoScript extension if you have to to go those warez and keygen sites. ipegot
There isn't a reason to be visiting "warez and keygen sites". Also, this site doesn't condone discussion of pirating or related materials. (of which said sites are part of). I do agree that UAC is not needed if you partake in good computer and internet usage habits. Most people do not however, hence the existence of UAC.
