So here i am porting models and doing textures and addons etc...and so far ive only done addons and main weapon color textures then i come to a set of textures that has different scope lens colors and i think to myself will ppl really need different lens colors? and thought well i want the guns to be as customizable as possible...but im not sure if i should do it because of the extra work as it will add an extra 3-4 textures and 3-4 models for each scope lens color. So since I cant decide i figured why not ask you guys? What do u think? custom scope lens colors too? its extra work im willing to do if ppl like the idea enough. You can never have to much variety...You can never have too many choices...can you?

i need more info to help you. is it a completely remade model or a retexture of an existing model. did you place the gun ingame using the geck? did you make sure to redo all the textures main and normal map, glow map if you have one and then delete any unused texture paths from nifskope. Did u save the file after you remade the changes? Sometimes with new models you have to add them to archive invalidation to get them work.

I think len colour is important.... blackcross hairs dont work well in the game the wasteland is basicly black or greys and sometimes its hard to notice where your crosshairs are actually pointing.. so for glowing/diffrent colour crosshairs.

YES!

but they proberly should be diffrent designs.
