another pipboy problem

i have searched other posts to try to find a match to what i am experiencing but none of the posts apply because im not using ANY pipboy mods. first off all i have active is fallout 3.exe and i still have the problem.

 

when i load my game and try to enter my pipboy all that happens is my character raises her hand and then takes it back down as if in regular play i can move my mouse around like i was in the pipboy but there is nothing there just the background

 

my mod load order before disabling all mods was

 

Fallout3.esm

Anchorage.esm

The Pitt.esm

Brokensteel.esm

bittercup_comp.esp

DIM TYPE3 conversions.esp

Amy_Armor.esp

BodyJewelry.esp

BessyEssential.esp

 

thats all that i had enabled at one time and all that i have in general mostly because i barely meet minimum system requirements lol but i love this game. If anyone can help me fix this problem then i would greatly appreciate it in the future i will get pics posted for this problem thx

So ... did it work before?

 

If so, there might be a Pipboy Mesh included in another Mod

Have a look into yout Fallout 3 Folder

 

--> Data >> Meshes

 

If there is a Folder called "Pipboy" or sth like that, you should delete it or move it somewhere else.

 

You also could try to deactivate the ArchiveInvalidation.

yes it did work before and as you can see from my load list i don't have any mods that really alter the pipboy and i didn't add anything before it started not working. no mods added no mods altered nothing it just said screw you and started doing it. idk what could be causing it but i really want it fixed :wallbash: maybe if i reinstall it idk not looking forward to it but i guess it has to be done :blink:

 

also no there isn't a folder in the meshes named pipboy and i might try the archive invalidation invalidated before i start the reinstall thx ill tell you if it works.
