JNC96
So I'm trying to morph dragbody's boxer outfit to the female type 3 body (For my own purposes, not to distribute), I put it on a female base in nifskope and everything, renamed the file, saved it, bada boom, bada bing, right? So I'm in the Geck, trying to change the .esm file around so it works, and when I try to change the female base clothing to the new custom model, I get this straight black type 3 female model, no clothes, standing spread legged. Where'd I go wrong? This is the model in nifskope - http://i.imgur.com/2mYZi9Q.jpg Edited March 3, 2014 by JNC96
M48A5
"So I'm in the Geck, trying to change the .esm file around so it works" As far as I know (which is little), you cannot edit an .esm in the GECK. You would have to create an .esp and make the changes there.
JNC96
Alright, here's where my inner green shows. I don't know the file types too well, I was playing around in the .esp, my mistake. But that doesn't change that i don't know where I went wrong.
M48A5
What I have done when I wanted to make a unique armor, was to take an armor mod, open it in NifSkope. I would make the changes to the armor .nif, save the change and exit. I would not rename the changed .nif but just use the old name. Afterall, I'm the only one that is going to use it. I have never use the GECK to make changes like this. I would run the change through Blender to change the parent and the bone weights, then back through NifSkope to make sure the shader and textures were correct. JNC96
Ahhhhh shaders and textures. I forgot about those. Imma be honest, that shizz looks hard. But, I gotta do it. EDIT: I don't know what I'm doing. At all. EDIT 2: I can't even set up Blender. Not really THAT interested in making this model, if anybody else want to try, I can PM you the files, dragbody said on the mod page we're free to use the models, and somebody more talented than I can do it.
