can a mod character get old over long playing time as original ones?

may I ask you something : I played Oblivion with out mods and my character really got old over time, which made me a bit worry. So if I play a mod character, would she/he get old? i mean her/his face changes

What ? That's possible ?

 

I thought it's not even possible for a character to get old, maybe your character have become a vampire, so you thought the character is getting old. I think it's IMPOSSIBLE for a character to get old, but I could been wrong, but I don't think so.

its true that my original female character got old when i'd played for about 30 hours. Her face changed ( some scars, dirty marks,) she looked as if she's 50 years old. I confidently confirm that she hadnot been a vampire.

i just want to know if a mod character has this feature?

As far as I know there's no mod for it. You could probably do it for some NPCs though

 

Player not in cell

Disable hiImaNPCyoung

enable hiImaNPCold

moveto cell hiImaNPChouse

 

You could even go one step further and have the NPC wear non-lootable clothes which give different body shapes for them. ( for example: a quilted doublet shirt with perky breasts for when they're young and a burgundy pantsuit with sagging everything when they're old.)

 

As I said though, I'm not aware of any mod that does anything like that, and doing it for the player would likely be more complicated.

Are you sure you didn't do anything that would cause your face to change? Showracemenu? Some sort of bloody mess, dirt, water type mod? any sort of cosmetic or race mods? Perhaps a mod adding a new disease type? etc?

 

It doesn't happen in Vanilla, hell most save games probably don't reach over 300 days. Oh and pics?

oh i'm sorry i've deleted the game recently for room. But now you have made me understand: getting old in the game is Impossible, thank you anyway, i'll reinstall and start it over

I read this and recalled what I assumed was a glitch - the glitch being when I used the console to tweak my character, I'd noticed the age slider had notched up slightly.

 

So, I think the age slider going up at all is a glitch (?). No idea what causes it, though.
