thanateros
"my what an interesting past you have, and very sad. Well certainly this endevour will earn you a name for sure, everyone in this region is on edge right because of all that's been transpiring here. our next step should to be find one of the people who have been affected by this abomination and see if we can't get any more information. However the area is quite big to cover so it might be best that we split up into teams for a day then return here and tell of what we have found. Are there any objections?" As the bartender comes to clean up the table Damian helps them clean up the dishes and take them into the washroom.

OddGuy
"I heve a feeling the farmers might be a bit touchy about the subject." replies Oquilerdalin. "I saw someone asking that Orc who lives nearby about it. He wasn't too happy."

Peregrine
"Talking seems to be a good idea," Alenee replies. "We definitely aren't going to get any closer to an answer unless we find a bit more information. Unless one of you happens to be skilled in the art of telepathy?" Taking one last drink from her glass, she gets up from the table. "I think I shall try this orc again. Perhaps where kind words had no effect, a more direct form of persuasion may work." Seeing the others glancing anxiously at the spear in her hands, she continues in a calming tone. "Oh, don't worry about me killing him... I've just found that orcs seem to respond better when given an answer of force to their problems."
thanateros
Damian returns to the table and joins the conversation, "Well I was the one who asked the Orc about it, and well seeing he is an Orc I wasn't supprised when the door was slammed in my face. Farmers on the other hand might be more voluntary of information since their livelihoods are at stake. Any other thoughts," he states looking at the faces of the now gathered group for a response. thanateros
"I and anyone who wishes to accompany me should head out to Betolious Pictar's farm. He's supposed to be a rather well known farmer in the area who has taken losses. After that I have some business that I must attend to and time is certainly of the essence, I must leave shortly." Damian's attitude suddenly shifts from a rather calm and humble aura to nervous and anxious. Beads of sweat begin to form on his brow which he quickly wipes away. As though to cover up his composure he interjects into the silence, "confounded heat i'll never get used to this climate." strolling up to the bar he orders yet another sujamma and lets the cold liquid slide down his throat. After chugging it down he lurches out a great belch and laughs to himself. "ah much better, it's so hard not being in a place you are familiar"
The_Reaper
"Hot?!" Ty says shivering " I find it a bit cold sir.""Can i call you Damian? You seem nervous, is something wrong?" Ty says obvioulsy worried
Peregrine
"I suppose I will come with you. You seem to have a better idea of the people around here. The orc will have to wait for another time I guess. Shall we get started, I too have other business here to see to." With that, she pulls her cloak back into place, concealing her face and body deep in shadows. Retrieving her pike from against the wall, she stands as if awaiting the next move. "Lead on, Damian," she says after one last look at the readiness of the group.
