Okay so I got this load order full of stuff that probably should never be used all together.

 

But I mean it's not like download discriptions cover everything that's in a mod.

 

You do get to see what the mods actually do in FO3edit though.

 

Anywho...

 

 

This is the third or forth time I've tried it.

 

I kind of messed up the other times, but it's going well this time.

 

Pretty much I'm going down the load order list in FO3edit.

 

Where ever there is a conflict I use one of the several ways to fix it.

 

For the most part it's copy paste, and adding master references to some mods

 

so that they will be able to use scripts or items from other mods (.esm or .esp)

 

 

I was wondering if this will help avoid crashes.

 

 

 

I've got no DLC's running 1.5 master updated.

 

There's a few problems which I figured fixing all the conflicts would clear up.

 

The two main ones I noticed were static poping noise only when the players head was crippled.

 

Then a crash that seemed linked to certain items I bought at underworld.

you hardly seem the same person when posting problems instead of answering them. :P

 

load all that into FO3Edit, wait until 'finished', click on left window, ctrl-A to select all, right click, choose 'Create Merged Patch', name it and it will add all the masters it needs and spew out the troublesome conflicts in a handy .esp, open it and have a good look at what's in there, right click and remove anything vestigial or redundant from the original .esp (not the merged patch), close FO3Edit without saving the Merged Patch, rinse and repeat...

 

you really should install the 1.7 update, if the masterupdate thing is putting you off doing it, just alter the File Header for each mod back to .esp...

 

when you do have a Merged Patch that you are satisfied with (the first attempt might achieve this), close FO3Edit and Save it, launch FOMM, tick the 'Merged-Patch'.esp and always ensure that it is last in load order.

 

if you change your load-order, best to delete the patch and make a new one, each and every time (with a clean non-auto non-quick save between).

 

CTDs should be greatly reduced.

I kind of figured 1.5 1.6 an 1.7 were pretty much the same if you didn't have DLC's

 

 

I actually tried 1.7 but it got messed up somehow, so I rolled back, which didn't fix it

 

an I just kept it there. dang huh...

I'm going to merge my newly merge patch with another merge patch an divide it by 0

pfft I wish it were 30 minutes

 

 

5 to 10 pages, replying to the post's with 0 replys

 

 

takes about 4-8 hours

 

 

Kill crazy rampage though it may be, I'd say it were good writing for techno mumbo jumbo

 

 

I'm not even that good at it

 

 

but something is better than nothing

 

 

 

(idk sometimes my something isn't better than nothing, BAH those people won't even come back to check the thread anyway)
