mechine
Hell yeah, click the shape in the render window, right click what got highlighted in the block list, an select block/ copy branch then paste that into a known good vanilla mesh (you pick one, if it's a sniper rifle pick the sniper rifle one) Or idk depending on what you want it to do, the animations are locked inside the meshes (hard coded) After you paste in the branch in the known good one, it's going to screw up the name, So take a note what the name of the object you deleted in the known good mesh is before you block/ remove branch It's also wise to click the item you're going to delete from the vanilla mesh, an see what it highlights so that when you right click whatever got highlighted an remove branch it just removes the part of the branch below that which is just the 3D shape, from there go up to the sub branch of that item you deleted an paste there you can also paste on the very top entry in the block list, depending on where you paste it's going to do a few different things. When you paste in a item it automaticly highlights it, so it's a good time to fix the name say you pasted in a sniper rifle, Nifscope named it 10mmpistolslide or something stupid it's highlighted when you paste it in so all you need is the block details turned on which the top entry in the block details is the name, you right click it an "edit text string" which brings up the name interface, there are names already programed into the nif, you can also make new ones, I prefer to use the one's already in there, so as not to confuse fallout, so I go down an pick sniperrifle:0, if it had more than one main non-animated part I would name them all sniperrilfle:0, sniperrifle:1, sniperrifle:2, sniperrifle:3 Say sniperrifle:1 is the scope, then sniperrifle:2 is the tripod, sniperrifle:3 is like the supressor But if it already had a seperate entry for something like say the supressor, then I would paste the suppressor under that line after I deleted the vanilla supressor, then change the name like it was in the one I deleted. It's tricky but you can paste in more than one part to a animated part and have all of them move in the animation like I said it's tricky, depends on where an how you paste it in so just keep trying till you figure it out. The number list is also kind of important, but not really. You could also go into nifscope an try the spell update all tangent spaces on each of the parts of the mesh then there's also the trick if you right click each item an go back and forth between stripify an triangulate it's in right click mesh, triangulate, do the same thing a few times like stripifiy, triangulate, stripifiy, triangulate, stripify, always end on a stripifiy. Do all the parts even the tiny ones. Update tangent spaces is the easy way to do one of the advanced tricks, it also will set the item to the normal X Y Z edits like up down left right, if you changed the rotation on it to a angle like 5 degrees after you rotate an move it without updating tanget spaces it now moves diagonally or whatever but it doesn't always fix it. Pretty much all of these are tricks to get meshes not to crash in GECK. There could be some other stuff too.
