Deleted54170User
That was called a boxers fracture when I busted my right hands on a heel of another players shoe I was trying to tackle. The doctor set mine and used the casting material to keep it in place for that one. When I broke the one on my left hand it broke from the force of leaving my handle grip and being driven into the grass.I had a pin inserted on that one to hold it in place. If you are in good health it will set in the first week or two, no fooling you have to keep it from bending much for at least 6 weeks because it is a small bone and will heal slightly crooked unless you take care not to use the finger. If they use a cast before the swelling goes completely down you will need to have a second cast replacing the first so the new soft bone doesn't flex until the end of six weeks. I did not know that and my little finger on my right hand isn't as straight as it used to be. It's okay, but the right hands little fingers' knuckle doesn't protrude a little like it used to. The left hand that I had the pin put in to support it is straighter. The palm muscles are more abundant so they tend to pull it down more. The splint has to brace your knuckle so the muscles pulling down don''t get to. The healing bone can grow back slightly bent down ward unless it is forced to stay straight by opposing pressure. Get a job at the hospital or at a clinic doing odd jobs. Believe me! Regular jobs are available in them and they will feel for you too. Better then at one of them then getting avoided by healthy people who believe that your luck could rub off on them. They wont hire you if they are even a little bit finicky in those jobs like cab driver or receptionist or information clerk. Check the place that are hospital and convenience health clinics. And don't stop going to them. Every morning go in, fill out the job forms or they will forget you exist by the next day or so. When the sun comes up be in there fill out the applications, go to the next one and do that there too until you ether get hired by one or you have to start over the next day. Just don't quit filling out apps if you don't get hired right away. Keep it up until they figure out how to put you on the pay roll. If you keep showing up like that they will likely figure out a way to make sure you don't starve to death at least.
