While playing through fable II, i said to myself this is boring ;(. So i booted up oblivion, and played that for 1XXXX hours. By the end of my run, i thought to myself a mod that gives me the ability to have a family would be great! A wife, some children, and a big house what more could you want? Well i want that mod! Anyone capable of making it come true? I still havent seen anything like it, i have very limited modding experience otherwise id do it myself. Any ideas, i have cm parts, and toaster which is cool, but i wnat more. Sorry to be so slefish, heheheheh....

Nope, there's some Japanese mods with children, but from what I saw.... yeah, not what you want.

There was also this topic a while back. Seems like with Oblivion and good graphics in general people seem to gravitate more towards pretty things, and sex stuff rather than immersion or role-playing.

The closest you'll probably get is a romance mod. Personally I like Integration's, and at least in that one it's explained why you'll never get kids from the relationship.

You can get the housewives mod, or romancing Elja (Spell check her name, can't check it atm)
I'm aware of the housewives mod, but I really didn't want to mention it because it seemed to lack any interaction, and personality from what I read on the description and saw in the screen shots. I mean the appeal of having a family mod is that of actually having a meaningful, interesting relationship with some NPCs that you go home to every few days. The housewives mod just seems like you're paying a brain dead NPC to live at your house from now on.

Here's two topics listing some romance mods:

1

2

Also there are some vampire mods that allow you to enslave NPCs and turn them into your little "blood pets"... As odd as it sounds, it does give off this feeling of like a disturbing little household. ;D

Training cattle Only "cattle", but there are different levels, and you can tell the older cattle to look after the younger ones.(make sure they don't starve, run away, etc.)

The WIP Unholy Darkness will include thralls, cattle, and you can even sire your own vampires.
