strikekira105 Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 (edited) Consider that if you promise Meyers a pardon and then select the NCR or Primm Slim to be sheriff, he still winds up as a permanent resident of Primm anyway. Who's to say he can't be Primm Slim's deputy in his own right, or he can't work for the NCR administration as a troubleshooter for problems the NCR can't "properly" deal with? In particular, Meyers and Primm Slim together would be a match made in law enforcement heaven. Primm Slim handles the small fries, and when someone gets away from our favorite Protectron, Meyers comes in to tie up the loose ends. Hell, maybe the reason why Primm Slim's resistance is so valiant in the Legion ending is because he has Meyers and his posse of ex-Powder Gangers backing him up. Although it is meta playing to say this, after my Courier saw Meyer's speech to the Ex-Powder Gangers, about wanting to be good men, and needing a second chance, it sold her on who should be the Sheriff. It's an actual happy (and good) ending for some of the Powder Gangers. The only other ending that comes close is getting the Vault 19 crew to join the Khans and have the Khans flee to Wyoming, where they rebuild civilization....that hopefully will be absorbed peacefully by NCR.
