I like way too many, including many not listed like AlienSlof, Dezi, Montana, Ismelda, Vorians, Hentai, Xenius, Korana, Chingari, ... well, if I list them all I'll be here all day. >.>

I'm one of those people that's weird and doesn't fit in anywhere. So most of the modders I 'love' don't fit into this uber-popular grouping, simply because I don't love what's popular as much as everyone else.... They make good mods, I have some of them, and I like them, but I can't really say I "LOVE" their work.... about the closest modder currently on the list would be Simyaz.

 

Actually I think there's an utter lack of quest modders on that list. Where's:

Edconn, MidDark, b3w4re, Liquidgraph,endrek,the aforementioned bg, and others?

 

Perhaps you should categorize them by what type of mods they make.

 

Body/clothes

armor/weapons

scripts/game play enhancements

quests

etc.

yes, bg2408's mods are awesome! But I think (s)he'd be much more popular if he/she would allow ratings/comments. Currently there's no other indicator for how "good" a mod is, other than endorsements.

 

I mean, you have to accept whatever rating you get. All of this is relative.

But you have to take the risk of letting people rate it, otherwise you will get very little feedback. And getting feedback is crucial if you want to improve your mod, I think.

 

Of course, there will always be trolls and someone will always disagree with your choices, but if you don't take the "risk" of getting rated, your mod will disappear in the vastness of modding-mediocrity.

And bg2408's mods are not mediocre.

Like the half of all the great modders around here have that problem.

The problem with these polls is that you're indeed either missing a lot of them or personal tastes (partly) decide the choices.

Hm.. maybe that review-thing that was spoken about in the feedback-forum will provide a solution.

They will be monitored, therefore pose less risks. I'm not sure what the review-thing actually will contain, but it could be a possible way to bypass the problem.
