faffman
Is it just me, or does arrows not go as far as they should when you shoot something really far off? For instance, when I'm high up on a cliff and shoot arrows at far-off targets, even big targets like giants and mammoths, the arrow doesn't connect, and I'm firmly convinced I'm not aiming poorly. In the case with giants, when the distance is too great, it's always that I alert them by hitting the ground slightly in front of or behind them, but never the giants themselves. Does the course of the arrow just stop after a certain distance, and is this fixable with a mod? This is particularly annoying when I have the same problem with the bows in this mod, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29950/? what with their increased range and all. They, if any, should definitely hit these far-off targets. I remember fighting a pair of mammoths yesterday from a cliff, with onw of these longbows. Since the mammoths couldn't do s#*! to me, they retreated to a safe distance. And even though they were in plain sight and my aim was definitely not off, the arrows DIDN't CONNECT. And the other problem, something I think most are familiar with. When standing or crouching on a cliff or something, trying to fire at an enemy below you, the arrow hits the cliff of the edge right in front of you, even when in first person view you have a clear aim on your target. You even get killcams a lot of the time, but the arrow still hits the edge. I certainly hope someone will at least reply, these problems shoud've been dealt with long ago. faffman
Thanks, will try it. Though it seems to be more to the mod than I want. Hope I can select the wanted parts.
