RandomArt
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good architecture software? Free is pretty much a must since I don't feel like spending $1500+ (yes, with two zeros) on a good program and I don't really feel like getting fined for pirating something that expensive. I have this here instead of somehwere else because I'm looking to build my own completely custom castle of sorts and I really just need something to organize my thoughts with, I've tried several (SmartDraw, Archimedes, etc.), but none of them have the CAD feel that I'm used to (I'm on '02 CAD for school) and I can't use them... Trigonous
Google sketcup up is free, and the pro version is $495 US dollars (probably still out of your price range, but the free version should work).
SpacemanSpIiff
If you want a more general 3d software package thats free, use blender.
RandomArt
I have the free SketchUp, and it's great, it's what I used to make a concept 3D model of the castle I want to build, but I want something that's really good with floor plans.
