Matt6sic6
I'm attempting to create a small mod where I add a custom roving trader hat to the game, so that I can have the same hat with a selection of colors. Make a long story short, even when using an unmodified .nif, the new item doesn't appear correctly on the player. It appears on it's side just to the left of the players head in mid air. See pic:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v475/mat...creenShot61.jpg And here is a screenshot of the new item in GECK:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v475/matt6sic6/snaphat.jpg I need to stress that the .nif I'm using right now is the unmodified Vanilla .nif, there should be no problem at all with it as I haven't altered it yet. I've tried deactivating and reactivating archive invalidation, and I'm at a loss. Is there something I'm missing? Any help at all would be appreciated. Yeah... it's just that if you search on the string "+hat +sideways", without even specifying sub-forums, the third search result, which is a tutorial on making headgear, actually deals with the issue, so it's just a matter of using the search engine before making new threads on it. It's nothing personal, just a pet-peeve of mine that the search function seems to be largely ignored. :P
