  1. 1. GTA San Andreas 2. Morrowind 3. Assassin's Creed II
  2. Are you sure you played both Oblivion and Fallout 3? If so read this: SPOILERS!
  3. I've read a lot of other sigs and some are pretty funny. So now I want to show off mine. I don't use sigs to advertise mods, but to spread a joke. I actually wanted to put it on my account on Bethesda Forum, but they said it was too long. :verymad: You must have both Oblivion and Fallout 3 experience to understand this one. It is inspired from the 'letter from Vault-Tec' in Springvale. PS: Don't say I stole it from here, because that's me who posted it. (my name is Arnold) Enjoy and rate! \/\/\/
  4. Oops, I didn't think of that for one sec when I first found it. It all started when I got a PM from another member which said some thing like: "If you have more questions you can find me at nexusforums.com." I became curious. At first I thought his URL would automaticly redirect me to the.... When I saw something different I assumed that site was part of the Nexus family too (easy to assume, since the Nexus family already uses one database for multiple sites). So I tried to log in. Only when that didn't work I knew his URL was just a typo. So my conclusion is: If you make a typo, while typing a URL, you will most likely end up at a completely different site. A billion websites out there and only 0.1% useful. That's internet.
  5. It appears they use the same icon as well. Also they're powered by Invision Power Board.
  6. I've recently seen a forum under the name nexusforums.com and I was wondering if it is part of Dark0ne's work as well. I tried to log in with my name there, but that didn't work, so it doesn't belong to this site. I couldn't understand the purpose of that forum either. I was wondering how a different forum could have such a similar name. Can be annoying too if you look for it on a search engine. Do members of this site often go there?
  7. Agreed; It seems that the only way to remain self-rightous is to ignore the main storyline. At the end of Broken Steel you have to make a karma choice. Why do I have to work with the BOS against the Enclave? I know they're not the nicest of guys, but I just don't care what they do.
  8. No, you still have to pay for them, unlike TES-I: Arena which is free to download from Bethesda's site. But the total of FO 1, 2 and Tactics costs $10, so that shouldn't be too much.
  9. Doesn't FOOK or any other overhaul mods do that already?
  10. The Enclave can hack the doors, but they were smart enough to forget the locations of their vaults.
  11. About those super mutants, if their headquarters is all the way west in the Capitel Wasteland, why do they go all the way east to DC. You would expact to find more muties in the wasteland, but all I see is Radschorpions, Robots and Raiders and sometimes a few muties in random encounters. And now this: There are two settlements that are very close to each other (Of course I'm talking about Big Town and Arefu) and each have entirely different problems. You would expect the muties to try out sometimes if those "little people" from Arefu are worth taking. Of course it also seems likely that the Family tries to drink blood in another settlement (especially if you force them to make a truce with Arefu).
  12. But you still had your pipboy on. That's pretty much vault only, isn't it?
  13. No, I think they completely deleted him, since he's no longer in the member list. Good riddance by the way. This is the fifth spam bot in such a short notice. I've read there are some ways to detect them before they start, but that would decrease the usability of the site. I trust the admins to make the right decision.
  14. No reference post? Or is this another spambot?
  15. Why don't you give us a link to your BETA-file?
  16. It's like the Talon Comapny (and the Regulators) have Karma (whatever that is) as their personal informant!
  17. But you can't even bargain with the mercs. How's that balanced roleplaying?
  18. That would mean there is more action and less roleplaying. I don't like it when they dumb the game down, like said on this topic.
  19. @First post: The problem with the end of Broken Steel is that you can only choose between the mobile base and the citadel. I understand that an evil character would not destroy the base, but maybe something different than the citadel. Bombing the base is pretty senseless anyway, since the soldiers are dead already and the BOS could use it's technology. Maybe an evil character could bomb something to impress a gang. Be that in The Pitt or Point Lookout.
  20. Bethesda, just like many other storywriters, made the mistake that Good and Evil are symetric to each other. If you're bad, some good guys hunt you down, and if you're good, it's the other way around, plus both hunters have the same voice. That doesn't give much new experience if you're playing an character who is on the "other side". Maybe "reverse-justice" does exist a little, according to Nagaoka, but the consequences for being good and evil should be very different to each other.
  21. When I send a PM there are two checkboxes: "Copy to sent items" and "Track message". I never really noticed what the function is of that second box. Anyone know?
  22. Someone should make a mod of this that will allow the player to step in that little world, you know like the sim of OA. It should have the same objectives as the text game. It will probably require Point Lookout for its meshes and stuff.
  23. It's very stupid to change all forms of a type, just because you want to add a common function. Think of the mod conflicts. I'm sorry but it had to be said. The FOSE idea is good however!
