daniel44
Hi,Today i bought the dragonborn DLC.When I installed it I noticed that I have no background music. I tried to go in and out from buildings such as dragonsreach ETC.. But that did not help. I also noticed that when I discover a new word of power i don't hear the opera sound (Ha Ha Ha Heyaa Ha Ha Ha Heyyaa). Also when I minimize the game I hear a sound from the mod Become The jarl of ivarstead (the cheering noise from the arena). This problem has happened to me since installing the dragonborn DLC. I tried to uncheck the Dragonborn.esp and the Update.esp from the nexus mod manager but that didn't help either. I also tried to move them in the loading queue (no help). Is there any way to fix that problem? Please anyone ?? :(
Kurzusseus
I'm not sure what has caused your problem. if I were you I would try this- Verify integrity of the game cacheLocated inside steam, right click on Elderscrolls V skyrim tabgo to properties, then local files\Verify integrity of the game cache. If that doesn't change anything -Uninstall and re-install Skyrim all together. This could be a lengthy process as installing the game can take aboutand hour. Check to see if any mods you may have conflict with Dragonborn perhaps? You didn't state if you had mods or not, (Except for become Jarl) so this is just a guess. (sorry I can't be more help. If this doesn't work it could be something else. Hope you get this fixed.) Edited March 16, 2014 by FalloutZaxus

Thanks for the reply :) yesterday i saw a reply that said to find the file that is clashing with the game using the console.because i heard the clapping noise from BTJOI when i minimize the game i decided to uncheck the mod and then i heard the music again. Then i looked the music in the console just like the reply said, removed the Arena music and then i was able to hear music again :) i already messaged the mod author about this problem and the solution for me. Do you know a way to make console commands permanent?
Kurzusseus
Do you know a way to make console commands permanent?Sorry no, I only know that setting time scale to 2 should permanently set it to a slower timescale. But messing with the timescale is bad. Also I believe setscale stays too a point, but for the most part you need to re-do it when you enter game again.
