Fallout 3 small guns damage too high

I have some problem within the games.... that I always forgot to ask. This problem already occurs when the first few time I play Fallout 3 (I don't recall I already modded the game that time). I thought it's not a problem... until I read on some wikis that energy weapons is more powerful than most of the small guns. So here's the problem.

Some small guns, for example, chinese assault rifle and assault rifle, have incredibly high damage right now. Chinese assault rifle is 64 and assault rifle is about 48 (not even 100% condition). Laser rifle, on the other way, is only 25 on damage. This difference already happens long time ago. It was 32 for Chinese assault rifle and if I remember, around 12 or 14 for Laser rifle.

So... what is actually happen? Am I wrong or the game is wrong?

Seen that already.... and it's clear that something wrong with my fallout. Chinese assault rifle damage (and some other small guns) is just too high. Anyway to fix this?

 

 

Oh and I remember the first mod I use is unofficial fallout 3 patch. Probably this would help.

Well, the Updated Unofficial patch does modify the Chinese Assault rifle, but all it does is add pick up and drop sounds. 0 changes to base damage.

 

You sure you're not using any weapons mods or anything like that which change base damage ratings?

Not quite sure... maybe there is a mod in my mod lists which change base damage. Not quite sure which one though. Here is my mod lists

Seriously consider replacing the Unofficial patch with it's updated version: Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch

 

While you're at it, get the merged version of Rh_Ironsights to replace the original one: Paradox Ignition

 

Can't see any obvious mods which might be responsible for your problem though.

 

Seems to me that your small guns skill is simply quite high compared to your energy weapons skill. You may also have some perks which increase you small guns skill even more.

You could also be wearing armor or other equipment which increases it.

Tested updated patch and merged rh_ironsights, small guns still overpowered.

My energy weapons skill is higher than small guns actually, and i think it's too much even if i have some perks which increase small guns skill.
