What essential mods should I get?

I'm about to install New Vegas for the first time having LOVED Fallout 3. I'm told that there are mods that all games should get that will drastically improve the gaming experience. They range from:

Bug fixes

Graphical improvements

Game-play improvements

Physics improvements

Balancing improvements

Could you fine people please direct me to the best mods that will help me get the most out of New Vegas. I already have the DLC expansion packs, I just want to make the actual game better. Also, if some mods conflict with others, please let me know so that I don’t screw up the game in the process.

Thank you.

I recommend you check out the 100 most endorsed mods of all time, both adult only and non adult. It really just depends on your preference. I also recommend project Nevada, willow, ninner, new Vegas bounties 1 & 2, Russell, YUP, the inheritance, run the lucky 38, project reality, the new bison Steve, beyond boulder dome, dog city, the weapon mod menu, and the Nevada mystery man. But there are plenty more you should get!

They won't change the story or mess up any of the actual game will they? I'm mainly looking to improve the existing game, not change it into something else. The mods you described, please tell me more about them. Which would you say is the single biggest graphical improvement one out there?

For your first playthrough try only using bug fixes, play the game at least once how the developers intended it to be played. The game has huge replay value so start modding it on the second playthrough.

ENB or No ENB?

What's ENB?

ENB or No ENB?

What's fake fullscreen about?

That's exactly why I only want bug fixes and graphical perks.
