0borderline
I'm not sure if this is in the right area. Sorry if it isn't. I was wondering, does anyone actually know what happened to Britain post-war? Obviously we know what happened to America, and we can guess what happened to China, but from what I've read up on, Britain and other european countries weren't involved with the war. An educated guess would be that Britain wasn't hit by Nuclear war, but with the collapse of the two major world superpowers, I'm guessing civil war and total anarchy would spread pretty fast post-war. That, and the economic crisis that fueled the war in the first place wouldn't help...
Klarim
According to the Fallout 3 Wiki timeline page, Europe and the Middle-East destroyed each other.

Prosthetics
Please educate yourself before you try to argue with people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union Also: European Union (EU) is not the same as the physical ground of Europe. The European Union is a union of countries, sort of a federation. While Europe is a physical continent.
katashy
Europe is a continent. Britian is a continent of it's own, but it is part of the EU. "The European Union (EU) is an economic and political union of 27 member states, located primarily in Europe." So while the EU is the EUROPEAN union, the countries tht are part of it don't HAVE to be in Europe. ANYWAY, I like to think it was just China and America that got destroyed, and EUROPE, but Britian remained a decent country.
c2552
Britian is a continent of it's own, but it is part of the EU.If Britain was a continent, Sardinia would be, too. ;) The only thing which seperates the British Isles from european mainland is a sea which has an average depth of 95 (!) meters. Lake Constance (Bodensee) in Germany has an average depth of 90m.And afaik continents are mainly defined by tectonic plates (Distance between Europe and Africa: 15km) ;) ------ The chance that at least Ireland wasn't hit too hard is very high, iirc Moriarty came from there. The UK is a full member of the European Union. However, unlike most other member states we have not adopted the Euro as our currency and still have the pound sterling. JimboUK
Politically it is, though many wish it wasn't. It is not part of the continent of Europe, there's 21 miles of sea between the UK and France. A continent is continuous mass of land, the word itself comes from the Latin terra continens (continuous land).
