A bit of help - summoning advice, and "armor" piece

Hello y'all! I have been messing about in the CK to try and make some changes to my latest mod, but I've hit a roadblock and I was wondering if some kind soul out there would be willing to give me a hand

I came across this mod the other day while investigating, and it does something rather close to what I'd like. I wanted to have this equippable piece of apparel that, when equipped, would summon the pet (instead of a spell, like it is currently), and the pet would stay put until you unequipped the piece of apparel. I figured it wouldn't be hard, but seems like I'm dumb  I downloaded that mod to take a peek in the CK, but maybe loading it up broke it, because the rings' enchantments had no effects listed, and since the mod uses no scripts, I'm at a loss. I'll contact the author later, but I was wondering if someone else knows what the best course of action would be for this.

The other thing I was hoping I could get a little help with was the actual piece of apparel. I wanted to have this piece of bread that would hang from the character's belt while equipped. Here's a picture of what I was hoping it would look like.

I know how to import new models and armors into the CK and set them up, so all I'd need would be the nif. I attached the vanilla bread nif here for your convenience, and a crappy attempt at a world model if it helps somewhat - if someone out there has the time to help me out and turn it into an equippable mesh, it would be just wonderfully wonderful!

Thanks for reading, and here's hoping I could get a bit of help with either part of my request for help

I think I may find a way to make the summoning effect work (through a script, although I have no idea of what I'm doing with those, haha) so help with the equippable bread would still be appreciated! :)
