I have decided to start this thread, because I have a bit of a problem with one idea for my space station mod.I was trying to find solution in many places, but somehow I have failed, so maybe solution will come to me through this topic. To the point:My station is constructed as a three revolving rings with liveable space between them, gravity is generated by centrifugal force, which means closer to the centre you are, less gravity you feel. My problem:I want to create control room in the centre, but I need to find a way to simulate zero gravity. How to make player float in space? If anyone will provide me with solution I will be most grateful. Also:If you have other creative ideas regarding how to use the station or what to put inside, you are very welcome to post them here. MythicDawnAssassin Posted September 24, 2009 Share Posted September 24, 2009 Beutiful, this mod makes me think of the James Bod film Moonraker, and of course it's zero gravity scenes.The bad news it that it's not possible to change gravity with scripts. katashy Posted September 25, 2009 Share Posted September 25, 2009 Trouble is... filling it with water would give you swimming animations, you cant pull out a gun and... there isnt another point.... You could make some custom nimations... or just stick with the swimming ones. And the gun bit... you could have a backstory, which says something like: Sine this is a space staion, if you shot inside of it, it would break the walls and depressurise killing you.
