Regarding 'Dirty Mods'

Well, I'm just started 'modding' in oblivion and I'm following the tutorial, but I'm not sure if I have the basis of 'dirty mods' and I'm wondering if someone can help me out and tell me if my mod is a dirty mod, and what is 'dirty' about it? I'm following the CS tutorials and on part 2, just finished making an extra basement.

Here is the mod.

There is a book located in the The Oak and Crosier Tavern in Chorrol, this is located directly straight when you enter through the South Gate. When you enter, you go up the stairs and there should be a bookcase, one of the books reads "A Rock that Leads to A Empty Cell". Don't mind my retarded naming, I had it originally be a rock on the shelf but it just didn't fit and I had used an Empty Cell that I had made to build things from scratch, don't worry, there is a basement in there xD

Here, is a picture of the book~

Some people don't understand the concept of "dirty." I read a post by one person who thought that if there were asterisks by anything in your mod, it was dirty. Asterisks just mean an item has been changed in position or character. The purpose of a mod is to create asterisks. The key is to just change things you intend to change and nothing else.

Most dirty changes are also benign. If I move a bush slightly to the left, that is usually benign and will not cause any problems. If I accidentally delete Martin, that is about as malignant as it gets and no one would want my mod on their system.

So inspecting a mod for dirtiness by looking at the asterisks is sometimes not very effective. Maybe the author did intend to make all the changes you see.
