LHammonds
Having that attitude will only prove to be a roadblock to improving. EVERYONE "sucks" when they first start at something. Even the people who seem awesome at something are always improving and at one point, they didn't know what they were doing at all. Just keep on asking for advice and taking suggestions, and you'll constantly improve as long as you have an open mind. It might get frustrating, but in the end, the work pays off. Trust me.That is the gist of what I was going to write. Sharing your screenshots on the forum implies that you wish others to view your work and make comments about it for the purpose of "knowing" what others think about what you have done. Consider yourself lucky if somebody has some good advice that can improve your work. In the beginning, it is tough just starting out but keep focused and enjoy what you do. Take me for example...I am not an artist nor have I ever claimed to be. Some think I am a great modder that can do anything but the fact is that I'm just like dirt. I've been around so long that people can glean information off of me just like archeologists can figure things out and derive an interesting story just by looking at layers of dirt. I do a LOT of reading and rely heavily on the geniuses that figured things out before I got here. Just stick with it and hopefully you can learn from those that are better than you and willing to teach you. It will do you a world of good if you can learn how convert your feelings of defensiveness into feelings of appreciation, even if you choose not to utilize the advice.
