FiftyTifty
You're having issues with VRAM because you're playing at 1080p, and possibly an ENB? Higher resolutions eat up more VRAM. To organize mods by their contact, you do just that; when you download a mod, put it in one folder dedicated to that type. For example, if you have ten mods which modify/add equipment, you would put them in an equipment folder. You'd then copy over the .esp files and clean them up in Tes5edit. To learn how to use Tes5edit, google is your friend. There's plenty of documentation to get you started.
camaro_69_327
Just curious as to the Odd size you state for your VRAM..1280 in SLI? SLI does not add up...what ever one card is , that is the amount of ram you have. so if you have 4 ( 1 GB ) cards you have 1 GB. SLI is bad ass in Skyrim, am using 2 - 580's in SLI and they are 3 GB each. with a boat load of graphic goodies i usually run about 2.4 - 2.8 GB used. Hell a vanilla game with JUST the HD - DLC's clock in at 1291 MB used.

LordDraconis
Run BOSS to optimize load order and consider upgrading to a quad core CPU. With that beast of a video two more CPU cores can only help.
