Cosmetics mods

I haven't played Oblivion in a long while. I decided to re-install and play again. For the life of me I can't seem to get ANY 'cosmetics' mods to work properly. I used to have Ren's hair, Corean, ThrottleKitty, you name it; and they all worked fine. Now I've tried so many different mods, Beautiful People (and several different compilations/variations of), Cosmetic Compilation (and other merged mods) Ren's Beauty Pack, etc... and I can't get ANY of them to fully work properly. Either the hairs won't show or, the eyes are black and/or missing. I'm not so dumb that I'm trying them all together, I'm installing only one at a time. I am keeping a fresh Data directory so that if a mod doesn't work and it's too much to uninstall, I wipe the Data directory and replace it with the stock one.

The Only mod I've gotten to work, to a certain degree, is the Cosmetic Compilation. Unfortunately I can only get Ren's hair to show up. I really just want to use Corean's hair with Imperial race and maybe some eyes too. Again, it's been a while since I've played Oblivion and messed around with mods. My dozens of other mods are working just fine, I can't seem to get a cosmetics mod that works right though. Any suggestions and help would be very appreciated. I would love to start using these wonderful mods again. Thanks in advance.

FYI; I've got Shivering Isles and the latest Official Patch... if that helps at all.

"There is no emoticon for what I am feeling!!!" Oh wait.. yes there is... :wallbash:

RUN! RUN! RUUUUUUNNNNN! from Beautiful People. it's what is causing the black/missing eyes.

Also try race balancing project. it's about the biggest cosmetic compilation, and it comes with several optional NPC diversity plugin options which add the hairs eyes and facial structures(TNR/BPVanilla/etc.) to NPCs.

Not really. Unless you didn't install it correctly(any cosmetic mod will show 'missing eyes' if you don't install it correctly) or try to use it with any body replacer plugin, especially Robert's Male Body-BP 2.2 compatibility plugin.

Most eye problems are related to having too many 'beauty' type mods installed. Each one wants to control how the eyes look and you get something strange. black eyes, no eyes, googly eyes, strange color etc. Look for mods such as 'beautiful people' and any custom race mod. disable all of them and see if you get the vanilla eyes back. Then reinstall the mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem.

Beautiful People was one of the early mods that changed eyes, and many of the later mods used a different technique causing a conflict resulting in strange eyes. Some race mods change the eyes while others do not.
