Same goes for their master, but that's a bit of spoiler and this isn't the spoiler section. Since dragons usually aren't this courteous, you have to absorb their soul (which contains the same knowlegde) to unlock a word of power. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
patrick5988 Posted March 29, 2014 Author Share Posted March 29, 2014 Right.. what I am saying is.. words come in 2-3 parts... you unlock the shout for the first word, and the rest of the words come with it...you only need one dragon soul per SHOUT... the grey beards give you a dragon soul power for the 2nd word of unrelenting force.. when you already unlock it on killing the first dragon... no other shout in the game requires you to use 2 dragon souls for the same word.... RobBruce Posted March 29, 2014 Share Posted March 29, 2014 No, you need 1 soul per word.But the Greybeards give you knowledge of the word, so that you can use it without having to spend a soul on unlocking it. I'm a little confused where you get the thought that you need 2 soulds for a word.You kill your first dragon, you get a soul, and that soul unlocks Fus.Than you go to the Greybeards, and they teach you Ro, and than they give you the knowledge that unlocks Ro for use.
