paladicprince Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Hey everyone... I know I've started several topics today >.> Sorry I just keep running into the weirdest things. This time it has to do with NPC's... I'm making an alternate start mod, to meet such ends I made a copy of the bloated float interiors and created an exterior for when you go topside. I've gotten pretty much everything working the way I want, so I was going to start adding some generic NPC's (after all I doubt you'd be navigating a huge ship like that all by yourself). So I added a generic begger in the 'ICWaterfrontBloatedFloatBelowDeck' as it was originally called back in the corner room. I also deleted a chair that was back there. But now when I go in game to test it as I'm wandering around inside that cell the screen will just go black at random angles. But if I move the mouse slightly to the left it comes back... It's kind of hard to explain but it's consistent, however if I delete the NPC the problem goes away. I've tried several different NPC's and custom made a couple but it always does the same thing. It's very frustrating because it makes my whole mod unplayable as long as there are NPC's... anyone ever heard of this before? Or have a clue what might be causing it? Obviously I didn't know... lol :) Much obliged kind sir that sounds right and I do indeed have an nVidia card. David Brasher Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 A similar problem arises if you create a defective NPC. Take a non-beastfolk NPC and edit it's race to Khajiit. It will have no tailbone, and it's tail might be 100 meters long and go in all sorts of crazy directions. This weird tail can obstruct your vision when you stand in certain spots.
