Paramar
Ok, so this has happened to me twice already:I enter a new area (the utility tunnel to the white house was one such place), and my game lags and i hear clanging noises. After a bit, when i slowly look around at a terrible FPS rate, i discover that I am stuck inside some sort of clutter and cannot move.I tried using the TCl command, but could not move.I tried removing all the clutter away using console commands, and that worked and even stopped the clanging sounds - but i still could not move! It is as if all the items inside the entry area, including my character, are all stuck into the entry point and cannot move from there. This only happened to me two times out of a hundred or more places I entered, but it does prevent me from exploring those areas. Any ideas as to what to do?[if Ii exit and re-enter, even if i leave the game and return to it, nothing changes] -Paramar
Skotte
one thing you might consider checking the control settings to see if Fallout didn't change those on you. my Fallout sometimes forgets that I use a mouse button for forward. Doesn't happen often but I never known another game to do that.
Paramar
Thanks for the idea, but that does not seem to be the problem. I can still click on whatever entry point there is into the new area, and so leave it, and once outside i move normally and there are no mouse problems. Also, in the stuck area, my keyboard commands seem to function normally - but when i press on movement, the character makes movement animations without leaving its starting point. -Paramar
