Sarya
Anyone feels offended when people don't respect his decisions, is that wrong? I would be enraged, definitely. You should be grateful that some modders are generous, at least, it's more nice of them to share than you imagine - as they cannot be paid for this hard work. All they can have is people's gratitude - if people even choose to be grateful and not trash them for their work. So, where this "unfair" actually is here? w2drs21
I understand people having the right not to share there work. but if your going to post it everywhere and then say well you cant have this then I find that a bit well I don't really know. I am kinda undecided I understand both point of views. NOTE I am not saying anyone is posting pics of mods other people cant have just saying this in general. -w2drs21
SavageArtistry
The name calling back and forth gets old. If you REALLY want those mods, learn how to use a search engine and learn how to navigate foreign sites. At least then you are not being disrespectful all over the forums to anyone. Luminiari
SavageArtistry, you deserve some Kudos. Now, to the people who condemn 'Asian' modders (how utterly racist. It's not JUST the Asian community that does it)- In the end, it's just a mod. Is it REALLY going to have such a negative impact if you can't have a 'private' mod? Does your life depend on it?Honest to goodness. If a person makes something and doesn't want to release it, so be it. Furthermore, if the same person decides to post screenshots of their work, let them. Who are you to judge them? In the end, calling them names and whinging about them makes YOU look bad. Hell. I have a bunch of mods I'm never going to release to the public. Guess what? That's my choice. It doesn't make me greedy. It just means I don't feel like sharing. It loses value. It's like if I make myself a dress. If other people want it, I'm in no way obligated to share it. Once I do, it won't be MY dress anymore. It'll be something nice I made for myself once upon a time that's now being shared around.Think of it that way.
SavageArtistry
It's like if I make myself a dress. If other people want it, I'm in no way obligated to share it. Once I do, it won't be MY dress anymore. Here's another scenario to contemplate. Maybe they've seen the things people have done with their mods in the past and it left them with a bitter taste in their mouths. As I've said before, what people did with the Gothic Breton has thoroughly disgusted me. I didn't make the GB to be a porn star. I'm a female player, a little bit goth mysef, and the GB was supposed to be my ideal avatar in the game. It makes me feel personally violated to see my creation in those sorts of shots. Of course I can't take it back. It's too late now, so I've given up on it and made myself a new race which I won't share, and I dare say it looks better than the original. It's also a breath of fresh air not to have to make it compatible with body mods I don't use.
