Tarshtra
I am an avid Lightwave 3D user. I would like to start making models for Morrowind, but I havn't been able to find any form of conversions to or from the model files (I can't remember the extension right off hand, my other computer is broken :( ). I would prefer to keep with Lightwave, but I am slowly being converted to using Maya. I havn't been able to find a method there either. About the only program I have found is 3DS Max, and that's only because it was provided by Bethesda. Does anybody have any recomendations? (Advance apology if there is already a posting for this.) Peregrine
You can't. There is no plugin that I've ever heard of for lightwave, so if you want to keep using it the only solution is to find someone with the right program and have them do the final export. The right version of 3dsmax will do it, and I've heard rumors of a plugin for one of the free/cheap programs, but I don't know how well it works or how well that program can import from lightwave. Kevin Woodman
I was trying to figure out blender, and noticed it could import lightwave files, at least it had an option for it.so far i can import and export nifs, but have yet to figure out how to edit them, it's WAY different than milkshape.
