What Will You Do In Oblivion?

I want to get on a horse and ride around the countryside. Will the horses be able to outrun any unfriendlies I meet along the way? Or will there be a western equivalent to the cliff racer that can catch anything in this new land?

I'm not happy about having to get off my horse to fight. Maybe I'll lead the mob into the nearest town to see how tough and smart the guards are.

I would think it would be something like being able to outrun anything you come across. Or maybe it will be a bit like how Chocobos work in FFXI, where enemies just ignore you as long as you're mounted. I hope it's not the latter as that is rather unrealistic.

Precisely.

I'm sure that the devs worked out some viable way of doing it.

Download the model export plugin and take advantage of the better mapping support than Morrowind. So many new features to play with! Like normal-mapping a million-poly sword onto something that can actually be used in a game, but look just as good.

Oh yea... Normal mapping for the win...

It will be extremely fun to be able to create without restrictions! :D

I Know that when i first start out im gonna try to kill some gaurds just for fun. Then, after i get wooped a couple times, im gonna actually start playing the game.....lol

I've Bought a brand new 256 mb graphic card just for this game, i wanna make sure that my comp will be able to run it perfect without any flaws, even on the highest graphic quality.

after i get outta that prison ill explore forests, then ill go to cyrodil city and live there until i know it by heart

then im going to do what i did in morrowind too, travel all around that map and explore each major city, qesting myself to death. after that ill find myself a house in the major city that i like most and only then i will start with the main quest.(you see, with these release delays you get time to think :P )

Hmm, that's a hard one.

I think I will focus most of my first playing hours on just exploring around, talking to NPC's, checking out the beautiful landscapes and ride a horse if i'll have the chance. :)

I will probably build up a good mage character get a a spell that has a ton of damage and a ton of area and levitate over every town and blast everyone to dust and get caught and get out of jail with my spells

rinse, lather and repeat on each town. :D

I heard they are taking levitate away.

"My summer report on what I will do in Oblivion" ahem. when i get outa the first part (jail) im gonna stretch jump and steal goods. sell sell sell kill all NPC's in area until i get pwned by the local town guards. start over create a woodelf assassin with blade and marksman (squirl hells yah other squirl hells yah) Oblivion hells yah. ok be done with stealth create a warlock or wizard or mage or sorcerer and blow the living shizznizzle out of ZOMBIES IN THE DUNGEONS and skeletons and other random ppl in dungeons. then get a pumpkin and bowl down guards with the havoc engine.
